The Peninsula Education Foundation's mission is to raise funds to supplement reduced state funding for education. Without PEF funding, essential programs would be greatly reduced or eliminated - programs which directly benefit every child at every school in the district and the Palos Verdes Peninsula community in general. In addition, the Foundation plays a role in communicating the district's needs to the community at large.

For many years, the Peninsula Education Foundation has been working with the PVPUSD to find a way to fund a world language program for the elementary levels. With the hard work of Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction Susan Liberati, we now have an introductory program.
