Pier 2 Pier Friendship Walk
The PEF participated in the Skechers Pier2Pier Friendship Walk on October 25th from Manhattan Beach pier to Hermosa Beach pier.
The first time event benefited local Education Foundations, including PV, Manhattan Beach, Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach and El Segundo; and the Friendship Circle, a local organization addressing the challenges facing the families of children with special needs by pairing local teenagers with children with special needs and creating a very special environment of friendship and love for all.
Over 1,700 walkers enjoyed a beautiful Sunday morning walk. The PEF had 170 walkers choose our schools as the beneficiary of their donation. Skechers CEO Michael Greenberg and Friendship Circle Executive Director Yossi Mintz presented a check for $7,500 to PEF President Kate Cocke and Executive Director Andrea Sala at a recent presentation.
