Major Donor Reception
The first Friday in June marks the celebration and recognition of Major Donors with a private party at a beautiful home on the Peninsula. The Major Donor Reception is an annual event to thank donors by celebrating a year long effort of raising funds for the schools in Palos Verdes. Light food and drinks are served and the event is complimentary to all Major Donors.
A highlight of the evening is awarding the Sam Goldberg Award, in honor of an individual or organization in recognition of his/her/its exceptional volunteer efforts in support of the youth of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Sam Goldberg is a founding member and the first President of PEF. Past recipients include:
