Major Donors
In recognition of donors who have given $2,000 and above, we have created a Major Donor Recognition Wall at the Promenade on the Peninsula. Every summer, we update the panels to list the donors who’ve given in the preceding year, with a ceremony to mark it. The Wall is located across from Pottery Barn, in a high-traffic section of the plaza, so all can see the significant individuals, businesses, philanthropic groups and corporations listed on it. Major Donor Events and Benefits
With your pledge of $1,000 or more comes a number of benefits.
Every year, in the fall, we thank you with a party, one that’s become a much-anticipated institution here on the Peninsula. In Fall 2009, for example, this annual Autumn Harvest was held at Trump National Golf Club, with 13 different South Bay eateries participating in putting on the feast. At the Autumn Harvest, Chuck Miller Grants are given to many of our fine teachers, and a great time is had by all.
Other benefits include:
- A complimentary half page ad for you or your business in the Main Event Auction Catalog. Donations over $10,000 get a full page ad.
- A special private reception prior to the Main Event, as well as other recognition at the Main Event.
- Donors of $25,000 or more receive a complimentary table for ten at the Main Event. $10,000 donors receive four complimentary tickets to Main Event. $5,000 donors receive two complimentary tickets.
